Reiki (Ray-Key), is a holistic hands-touch healing technique that aids the body in releasing stress and tention by creating deep relaxation.  It helps the body accelerate natural healing, stimulate the immune system, relieve muscle spasms, cleanse toxins, release emotional blockages.  Reiki also can be an effective ancillary treatment of chronic and acute illness or injury.  Reiki is sometimes referred to as a “Relaxation Technique”, and promotes the ability of the body to heal itself.  Reiki does not conflict with individual religious beliefs and is intended to complement medical treatment, not to substitute for it. 

Instruction by Shirley Sahaja Sicsko and Jack Sicsko.  Both have studied with several prominent Reiki Masters including but not limited to Reiki Masters and authors Frank Arjava Petter, Kathleen Milner and William Lee Rand.  At Yoga West, Reiki is taught in adherence to the principles of Mikao Usui.

Reiki practioners who receives certification at Yoga West are invited to continue with their Reiki training, at no additional charge, by participating in regularly scheduled Reiki Sharings.  Yoga West provides the facilities and tables for use by their students.
